It's 1964, St. Nicholas in the Bronx. A vibrant, charismatic priest, Father Flynn (Academy Award® winner Philip Seymour Hoffman), is trying to upend the schools' strict customs, which have long been fiercely guarded by Sister Aloysius Beauvier (Academy Award® winner Meryl Streep), the iron-gloved Principal who believes in the power of fear and discipline. The winds of political change are sweeping through the community, and indeed, the school has just accepted its first black student, Donald Miller. But when Sister James (Academy Award® nominee Amy Adams), a hopeful innocent, shares with Sister Aloysius her guilt-inducing suspicion that Father Flynn is paying too much personal attention to Donald, Sister Aloysius sets off on a personal crusade to unearth the truth and to expunge Flynn from the school. Now, without a shard of proof besides her moral certainty, Sister Aloysius locks into a battle of wills with Father Flynn which threatens to tear apart the community with irrevocable consequence.

Superstar Tom Cruise heads an international cast as Col. Claus von Stauffenberg, the aristocratic German officer who led the heroic attempt to bring down the Nazi regime and end the war by planting a bomb in Hitler's bunker. The "July 20 Plot" on Hitler's life is one of the most heroic but least known episodes of World War Two. Severely wounded in combat, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg returns from Africa to join the German Resistance and help create Operation Valkyrie, the complex plan that will allow a shadow government to replace Hitler's once he is dead. But fate and circumstance conspire to thrust Stauffenberg from one of many in the plot to a double-edged central role. Not only must he lead the coup and seize control of his nation's government... He must kill Hitler himself.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918, into the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man's life can be. Directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett with Taraji P. Henson, Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond, "Benjamin Button," is a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.
In the comedy, now playing in theaters, Carrey plays Carl Allen, a guy whose life is going nowhere—the operative word being "no"—until he signs up for a self-help program based on one simple covenant: say yes to everything...and anything. Unleashing the power of "YES" begins to transform Carl's life in amazing and unexpected ways, getting him promoted at work and opening the door to a new romance. But his willingness to embrace every opportunity might just become too much of a good thing. The Peyton Reed-directed film co-stars Zooey Deschanel, Bradley Cooper, Rhys Darby, John Michael Higgins, Danny Masterson and Terence Stamp.
Shortly after the events of "Madagascar," Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, and the penguins prepare to return to New York City on a patched-together airplane. The lemur king Julien and his right hand man Maurice go along for the ride, too. Along the way, the plane has some mechanical problems and they crash-land in the middle of Africa.
While the zoo animals are at first afraid of their new surroundings, they quickly realize it's the place they belong when they discover more of their own kind. Marty falls in with the zebra herd, Melman becomes a giraffe witch doctor, and Gloria falls in love with a sexy male hippo named Moto Moto. But most importantly, Alex is reunited with his mother and his father, Zuba.
Zuba is king of the pride and is overjoyed by the return of his son who was kidnapped by poachers years before. However, another lion named Makunga uses the happy reunion as an opportunity to win control of the pride and all the animals in the wildlife reserve. It's up to Alex and his friends to save the day and restore everything to normal in the savannah.

Max Payne is a 2008 action film based on the 2001 video game of the same name. The film was directed by John Moore and stars Mark Wahlberg in the title role.
A New York police detective (Mark Wahlberg), tortured by the unsolved murder of his wife and child, learns that the killers may be involved with a murky underworld of tattooed addicts to a mysterious and powerful new drug. Beau Thorne’s script can claim the dubious distinction of having even less of a story than the video game on which it is based; it’s muddled and skimpy, and the bad guys are obvious almost before they open their mouths. Director John Moore tarts the proceedings up with Matrix-style slo-mo and graphic-novel images that are striking but static, leading up to a madly over-the-top climax. With over 7 million copies sold, the game probably has enough fans to give the movie a big opening weekend, after which they’ll go back to their Xboxes and PlayStations—where the action is surely a lot more fun.
